Information Security Office - About Us

Our Mission

The mission of the Information Security Office (ISO) is to design, implement and maintain an information security program that protects the University's systems, services and data against unauthorized use, disclosure, modification, damage and loss. The ISO is committed to engaging the University community to establish an appropriate information security governance structure that enables collaboration and support for new information security initiatives.

Security Risk Assessment

Description

The Information Security Office has partnered with Texas A&M University to provide a hosted risk assessment application that allows departments to perform an Information Risk Assessment that takes into consideration both technical and non technical risks to the systems and data they support.

Service Levels

The UConn Information Security Office supports the processes of performing a risk assessment and reporting those results. The ISAAC application itself is hosted and supported by Texas A&M.

Requests for service or support should be made through the UConn Information Security Office.
