Information Security Office - About Us

Our Mission

The mission of the Information Security Office (ISO) is to design, implement and maintain an information security program that protects the University's systems, services and data against unauthorized use, disclosure, modification, damage and loss. The ISO is committed to engaging the University community to establish an appropriate information security governance structure that enables collaboration and support for new information security initiatives.

Description

Identifying vulnerabilities across networks, operating systems, databases, Web applications and a wide-range of system platforms through an integrated, intelligent scan engine, Rapid7 NeXpose prioritizes vulnerabilities using exploit risk scoring and asset criticality ratings.

Standard Costs Free – Limited/no retention of historical data on the system.
Optional Costs Additional licenses may be purchased to enable retention of historical data. Licenses are purchased based on the number of IP addresses that will be included in a scan.
